Br. Sam is a perpetually vowed brother in the Brotherhood of Hope, an aspiring new religious institute in the Catholic Church. Br. Sam has a Bachelor's degree from Parsons School of Design in New York City and a Masters from St. John's Seminary in Brighton, MA. Raised in a loving Baptist family, Br. Sam converted to Catholicism and was received into the Church at the Catholic Center at NYU. Since campus ministry played such an important role in his own college and early young adult years, Br. Sam sees this as a critical season of possibility and hope for young people who are looking for deeper meaning in their lives.
